Assistance with Reading Legal Documents

The Literacy Council and the Clermont County Court of Domestic Relations are partnering to provide volunteer tutors to read legal documents to individuals who need to resolve a domestic relations matter.

This is a free service.

 A volunteer tutor can:

  • meet with an individual in a public place such as a library.
  • access the Court’s website which will enable the individual to make an informed choice as to what documents need to be filed.
  • fill in legal documents with the information that the individual provides.
  • meet with the individual more than once if further assistance is required.

A volunteer tutor cannot provide any legal advice.   For legal advice, an individual must consult an attorney.

To get a volunteer, call 513-831-7323 and ask for a volunteer to help you read
your documents.
